Let me start out by saying this lake had some of the clearest water I have ever seen. Even in low light conditions (overcast most of the day) you could easily see bottom in 20 ft of water. The fishing though was not as great on this weekend. We did manage to get 10+ fish to the boat, but the average size was nothing to be excited about.

I took only one picture just because I couldn't stop laughing at the size of the small mouth and the lure it hit.

Started out on the water early around 5:30, didn't even have a bite until around 8 and it was just a small pickeral. Managed to get a few small largemouth off the lily pads in the cove on the north side of the lake and another off the small island near the boat launch. Off the water by 10:30 with just the 3 small ones, no photos, not worth taken the camera out for these minnows.

Slow day, got a few small Largemouth early on, but that was it.

Fished Silver Lake in Madison and a few small ponds close by. Slow week, boated about 10 fish all together nothing big.

Fished Swains lake for a few hours Sunday morning. Slow day, landed only a few Largemouth.

Slow day on Bellamy Res., Fished for a few hours on Sunday morning with a friend. Only landed 3 small largemouth, nothing special.

Annual trip to Madison with 3 longtime fishing buddies. Fished Conway Lake hard for 3 days. A little windy the first 2 days, but cleared up nicely for the third. Overall decent weather and fishing.
